What We offer

HANGOUT TIME

During hangout time, we have table tennis, video games, lounge chairs and a safe environment for your student to hangout before and after service as well as before and after Sunday morning services.

GATHERINGS

Our students gather on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday nights of each month. These nights teach relevant Bible teachings, acoustic style worship and relationship building.

GROUPS

We make relationships a key focus on what we do. Relationships with each other but more than that, building your students relationship with God. We do that be allowing to be in appropriate groups to help facilitate their walk with God.

Join us the first and third Wednesday night of each month at 7 pm at the church.

The first step after salvation is water baptism.

Baptize in the original Greek means – to immerse, dip, to plunge all the way under.

We will put you completely under the water, not just sprinkle. We believe in immersion.

The act of baptism illustrates the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus that we received at salvation.

It is our public testimony that we have entered into salvation. There is something so powerful in submitting to public water baptism. You are not only telling God and others that you have chosen to follow Jesus, but you also tell your own soul that from now on you will be serving God and physically obeying the Word of God. It disciplines your mind to think that way.

It has a strengthening effect. It will help you to follow God.

Additional thoughts on baptism

– What is the meaning of baptism?

It illustrates Christ’s death, burial and resurrection.
It illustrates your new life as a Christian.
It illustrates that the Christian life is being immersed in the things of God.

– Why be baptized by immersion?

Because Jesus was baptized that way.
Every baptism in the Bible was by immersion.
“Baptize” means to immerse, or dip, or plunge into water.

– Who should be baptized?

Every person who believes in Christ.

– When should I be baptized?

As soon as you have believed and understand.

– Can my child be baptized?

Yes, at the age of understanding. If he/she understands what they are doing, then by all means, sign them up for baptism. If they are not sure, wait until they are ready.

EVANGELISM MONTH

Today all over Norman, Pathway members are driving through the neighborhood they live in and praying specifically for 10 homes/families.

In 2 weeks you will be coming back down your streets and personally inviting those people to "JOIN US" for Easter at Pathway.

TODAY’S INSTRUCTIONS

Get in your car and drive through your neighborhood praying for 10 houses/family specifically.
If situation allows, engage in a conversation with a neighbor.
1. Introduce yourself
2. Tell them who you are and where you live so they don’t think you are a creeper
3. Ask questions (quick to listen and slow to speak)
4. Today is about building a relationship and nothing more
Pray specific prayers which we have suggestions below
Pray the below prayer over the address and then go to the next house and pray it again for that house. Keep going until you pray for at least 10 houses/families.

What to pray

PRAY WITH FAITH!

I pray for the person who lives at address or name . Lord I ask…
1. Use me to be a part of their story of coming to know you as their savior.
2. When I talk to them over the next two weeks, they will be receptive to what I have to say.
3. Something will stir in their hearts over the next two weeks to want to come to church with me.
4. Give me the words to say when I talk to them so they will feel your spirit working through me.
5. I want to see these people come to church and when they come, they will feel your spirit and feel welcomed.
6. When they come to our church, if they have a need, it will be met because you are a loving Father.
7. When they come to our church, they will feel the move of the spirit and want to be a part of it.
8. When they come to our church, their lives will be changed because they came.
9. When they come to our church, if they are not already believers, they will give their life to You.
10. Thank you Jesus for letting me be a part of their story.

If you enjoy singing or know how to play an instrument we want to invite you to join our choir team ministry. We have a choir that sings on the first Sunday of each month. Our worship team is a fun place to get to meet other people and get involved in ministry.

It is 4 nights, 1 hour each night spread out over 4 weeks with the final night being a group that we take turns leading to get proper feedback to set you up for success in leading your group.

What To Expect

When you come to Pathway, you are coming to more than just a place to meet. You are coming to hang out with family and grow deeper in your relationship with God.

We start our service off with music that is a bit more calm than most contemporary churches today. We are not interested in just signing the latest songs but truly desire to pursue the presence of God in our worship.

From our worship we move on to our teaching. Our Pastor is energetic and full of faith. We teach the entire Bible and what is known as a word and spirit church.

We offer kids services that are designed with your kids in mind. Our guarantee to you as a parent, in a safe and encouraging atmosphere your kids will have fun, make friends and meet Jesus.

As for the adults, we offer a men’s and women’s ministry. The men get together every other fun for breakfast and a bible study while the women get together monthly.

The missions ministry of Pathway is a great place to reach out to our community and beyond. We partner with many local outreaches who are established and doing great things in our community.

We also support financially several ministries who are both national and international.

If you are inserted in going in a mission trip, we will be going to Honduras. We go with Evangelist David Brown who has held miracle and healing crusades in every nation of Honduras. To find out more, let us know and we can send you the details when our next mission trip will be held.

At the heart of Pathway, is a praying church. We offer prayer sessions every Sunday morning at 9 am in the prayer room.

We also have trained altar team workers who specifically pray for those who are need of prayer. If you need prayer, please feel free to come to any of our prayer sessions.

Pathway Women is for women of all ages, like you! Whatever season of life you’re in, we provide a place for you to get nurtured and grounded in God’s word, find grace, encouragement, and hearts that can relate to yours.

We meet monthly for get togethers, brunches and bible study times.
